Crash Bang Boom

I was backing out of a parking place and tapped another car which was standing behind me. No one was hurt and it caused justa small dent in the other woman’s driver side door. Even though I was moving at about 3 miles an hour, for some reason the impact was enough to completely shatter my back glass. 
What’s frustrating is the woman shouldn’t have been idling in the lane behind me. My insurance writes off anything less that $500 damage; the damage to her car was $526. And my last speeding ticket was in 2010, and that was just about to fall off my insurance. Argh. Oh well, it could’ve been worse.
