Lodi to Cambridge
I went into Cambridge tonight for burgers and ice cream with my friend Sonia, who is in the city for a four-week pharmacy school internship. I first met Sonia three years ago, when she and her family put me up in Lodi, CA while I was walking across America. It was really cool to see her again.

Bianca’s Bananas for Bananas!
Over the weekend my workplace had a fundraiser walk. Price Chopper donated some fruit for the finish line (thanks!) at Elm Park. But even after the 200+ walkers and random passers by were through, we still had two boxes of bananas and a box of apples left over. The next day, Bianca at the front desk posed with this bountiful bowl of bananas. So if you’re feeling a little potassium deficient, come on over and take a banana or five.

Perfect Pepper
Picking my plants today. Unfortunately the cucumbers and watermelons were a wash, but the peppers grew well and I even got two separate harvests from the green beans.

Hello from Cape Cod Pt. II
This weekend Jen and I went to the Cape, to stay with one of her co-workers from her lab. Admittedly, it was nice to get away from the non-stop 9/11 media saturation. Here are Jen and Tim relaxing in the backyard, watching the cranberries grow.

Greetings from Cape Cod
Jen and I are on the Cape this weekend. We went to the pier in Chatham, where seals hang out and wait for the fishing boats.
